The garden offers a range of community-focused events and trainings open to members and the public to get people excited about the benefits and pleasures of growing their own food.

These low-cost or free workshops and classes promote awareness of organic farming practices, planet-friendly growing methods, food preservation, water-wise irrigation, and sustainability issues.

The content is created in coordination with subject matter experts such as the Master Gardener Association of San Diego County.
